Return & Refund Policy

1. 14-Day Return Window

For products that are eligible for return, you may request a return within 14 calendar days after delivery. A return must be authorized by MedEmp before the item is sent or brought back.

2. Return Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated for a particular product, an eligible item must:

• be unused and in substantially the same condition in which it was received;
• include original packaging, manuals, accessories, parts, tags, and documentation;
• show no damage, contamination, alteration, or signs of use; and
• include proof of purchase.

3. Non-Returnable Products

Except where an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, subject to a valid warranty remedy, or applicable law requires otherwise, the following categories are not eligible for discretionary return:

• bath-safety products;
• commodes and toileting products;
• lift chairs;
• mobility scooters;
• power wheelchairs;
• personalized, customized, or specially ordered items;
• opened products that cannot reasonably be resold for hygiene or safety reasons;
• gift cards; and
• products expressly identified as final sale before purchase.

Clearance or sale products identified as “final sale” before purchase are not eligible for discretionary return.

For an eligible change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for reasonable return shipping or freight costs unless MedEmp states otherwise. For a verified incorrect, damaged, or defective product for which MedEmp is responsible, MedEmp will provide an appropriate return or pickup solution without charging the customer reasonable return transportation costs. Large products may require freight pickup rather than parcel shipping.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If an order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, contact us promptly so we can evaluate the issue. Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, missing parts, manufacturer warranty support, or refund.

7. Exchanges

When an exchange is available, we may process it directly or ask you to return the eligible item and place a new order. Any price difference will be disclosed.

8. Refunds

After we receive and inspect an authorized return, we will notify you whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after approval. Your bank, card issuer, financing provider, or other payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

Original delivery, assembly, installation, white-glove, or expedited-shipping fees may be non-refundable after the corresponding service has been performed, except when applicable law or the circumstances require otherwise.

9. Order Cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Orders that have already shipped, been installed, been customized, entered special-order production, or otherwise been substantially fulfilled may no longer be cancellable and may instead be governed by the return rules above.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights concerning defective goods, warranties, billing errors, delayed shipments, or other protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
